You folks must be as busy as I am. What have you been doing? I figure our friends in the midwest are treading water still. How about the rest of you?
Myself, I have been working to assemble an engine for my car. It's the whole reason I built my garage. Months of research and collecting parts is coming to a head as I am fitting all of the parts for the last time, measuring tolerances and completing the final assembly. Everything needs to be coated with something so this week I am oiling, greasing or painting all parts and then torquing them in place. The bottom end is finished except for some oil pan modifications and the heads and rocker arm need to be torqued. From there I need to bolt on the timing cover, water pump and all of the brackets and pullies that make this thing hum. I might make it by the end of June.
I hope you all are having fun, safe and healthy!

Congrats, John, It sounds like it's coming along just fine. Why do I get the feeling this won't be the last car project in your garage? :D
Myself, I'm in the middle of a pretty intense class about databases, and training like crazy for the MS150 bicycle ride coming up on July 7-8. I'm up to about 100 miles a week now. Add those things to our non-stop 2 year old boy and the news we just found out three days ago... we've got twins coming in December!
We're happy and excited, but a little freaked out as well. All we wanted was one more, and BAM! Twins. Now we have to figure out the money and the logistics, so you could say our time is consumed.
I haven't had a chance to get anything done in my garage for a while, but that's ok, it's not going anywhere. I'll be checking these forums for trolls, but my posts will be fewer and farther between... that's just the way it's gonna be for a while.

Congrats on the twins! The shock will wear off, and twins have thier own challenges, but if you wanted to have more kids these two will be a blessing.
Sounds like you're keping plenty busy in the meantime. Good to hear you are doing well.
As for me, no this will not be the last car that darkens my door. I plan to have as many as the budget will allow. The qualifier on that is, I have to have room for them and the resources to keep them running. The Firebird will never leave the family, however. I have been warned by more experienced car owners to never let go of that first love as it will haunt you the rest of your life. That's advice that I plan to follow.

Six CONGRATS!
I was busy with my new purchase - as you saw in the other forum.
Also been working hard and long on a big site for a client. Unfortunetly, this hobby site does not pay the bills :(

Congrats on the twins Six. I'm sure it will be wonderful. My cousin had twins when her oldest was about 2 and they decided to get a nanny to help. John said he'd get me one if I had twins (when I was preg with #2) I told him to forget the nanny and get me a housekeeper. I'll take care of the kids! ;) Are you planning to find out the sexes or just wait till the big day? Keep us posted. Much luck!!
