My truck is a 1979 Dodge Warlock,it is a stepside truck that Dodge made for a limited time.I am not sure if you have heard of the Lil red express truck?if you have, then you would know what it looks like as it is the sister truck to that model.
Link to the Dodge adult toys brochure with a small pic of the truck in green, and NO this is not a link to adult toys it is a vehicle thing, haha:D

Here in Colorado, it's about 3 bucks a gallon
Fortunately, my workplace is only a few miles away, and on top of that, I ride my KLR at least a few days a week.

That made the old brain hurt for a second there I had to convert gallon to litres. 1 U.S. gallon is equal to 3.7854118 Litres. This means that you are paying something around 1.26 a litre?that sound right? lol

Yeah, something like that. I wish the U.S. would use the darn metric system like the rest of the world! Sheesh!

We're up to $3 a gallon here too in Nebraska. And no, I'm not going to convert it to litres because I don't want my brain to explode.

We are definately behind the times about metric.

Are you in Nebraska?

Yep, near Omaha. Darn it, I should have filled up the other day when it was $2.89. It's up to $3.09 now and I have half a tank. Maybe I'll just wait and see what happens....

My brother Ken and his wife live in Omaha, Nebraska with their 2 children.

They live in Nebraska, and they said gas prices are going up. And in Minnesota, it's up to $3.13 per gallon. So, this is what's going on in the U.S.

So your brother and his wife are going through the same thing I am. From what I have heard, though, we have it a lot better than some places on the West Coast.

I was checking on-line gas prices about a month ago. It was showing the increases by state and per year differences. Everything on the west coast including Real Estate is more expensive.

That's true. When my family came to visit after our son was born they couldn't believe the size of our house. In LA (where they are all from) they wouldn't be able to get such a place unless they put down some serious cash.

But the salaries are also bigger. They can afford the gasoline and smaller house because their take home money is more. Truthfully, higher prices affect everyone.

Yep, you're right. I don't think any of them could survive on what we bring home, but it suits us just fine.

Our salaries here do very well for our families. And I hope the gas prices aren't going to keep going up this year. We have to spend alot of our money on daily things like groceries all the time. I don't think it would work for our big family.

I've noticed a BIG dip in gas prices lately, and my husband says it's because one oil company found a reserve that they didn't know existed. Anyone else hear about this?

The gas prices are still going down over here in the Midwest. I paid $2.33 the other day, and that's a big difference from what I was paying a couple of weeks ago.

I don't have a car right now and haven't for a good few months so I haven't really tracked any changes lately.
