In my neighborhood there are many people who have so much clutter in their garages that they are forced to park their cars outside. Anyone else find this absurd?

HAhaa! Ridiculous! Completely defeats the purpose of a garage, in my opinion. It's so easily done though, isn't it?

My neighborhood has 'em as well. It's definitely ironic. I think a lot of people just don't care enough do anything about it and it gets worse and worse with time.

The thing that blows my mind is that with our thunderstorm season comes large hail, so these people allow their cars to get all dented up.

I can't believe you had that huge hailstorms. That must have been scary!

Yeah, when my mom came to visit she saw a car that was hail damaged, and she couldn't believe the sheer damage it can cause. I guess if you live in the Pacific Northwest like she does you can't really compehend what serious hail can do.

Its absurd if its simply because of clutter and laziness.
We don't park our cars in the garage because we have/our turning it into a games room.

Yeah, a game room is one thing, but boxes piled upon boxes of useless junk is another.

Yes, I think when people keep their garage so cluttered they can't park in it, it's such a waste. What is a garage for after all? I have a friend whose husband occassionally works on cars in the garage so he will never let her park her car in there.

I just finished watching that video. her garage was unbelievable! It's so utterly pointless. would people waste a room with junk? a garage is excellent space and really shouldn't be wasted.

I agree about using it for junk. I don't like that in my house or garage.

I'm with you guys. It seems as though so many people get overridden with junk and just can't seem to part with it.

The answer is simple load up all your clutter and give it away. To the neighborhood children, or down the street to an older couple. Or the chartity of choice such as AMVets, Salvations Army, or Battered Women Houses need items suchas dishes, rugs, and toys.

That's true, Grace. And if it's too painful to simply give it all away then there's always selling on E-bay, right?

Giving things away can be paiful indeed. I have never sold anything on E-bay but I love looking at the art on E-bay. They have a huge selection of posters and paintings for sale.

I've never checked out E-Bay for art. I know there has been mention of buying stuff on E-bay in other threads of this forum.

Well there's every kind of art you can imagine from Monet to Indian culture. One of favorites is landscapes where they have red and yellow sunsets.

My friend used to sell her paintings on ebay. Really surprised me becaus I didn't think of ebay for art at all. But they sell everything now.

E-bay is probably a great place to get all kinds of art and posters. Wether buying or selling it's does all of it.
