some new pics of my garage, had help from family and friends(they work cheap but drink alot of beer)I paid a guy cash to do the concret on the side(they did an awsome job) hozays guys hung all the drywall for 400.00,i rented a scafull and got the drywall for them ,wierd,no one spoke english except hozay,he didnt even come to look at the job, just talked to him on the phone ,had to call him and tell him i was ready to square up with him, tried to jew him down when he came for the money ,didnt work, hes a super nice guy,and cheap.would of took me a month of sundays to do what they did in a day,id be swing from the rafters with a rope around my neck if i had to that shit myself.the dry wall finisher finished the drywall for 400.00,he too did an awsome job.the things i got screwed on was the heating,i should of just done it my self, pay him 800.00 up front ,hes a friend of a friend ,when he finaly showed up after a month he screwed it to the ceiling, never saw him again until the following year, when he showed up we went to the store for the pipe ,chimmy and i ended up paying for every thing, never called him again, finished it myself, next time i see his harley im going to kick it over.
all and all i think it came out good ,i like it alot so far i have almost 30k in the garage,i would think that if i would haved contracted it out it would of costed over 45k may be more toward 50k with all te finish work

Great pics. Aside from your rides of course ... your floor really stands out. Man it looks nice. I'm leaning towards tiles for mine as well, once I figure out how to pay for 'em.

A question that came up a while ago in the forums: How well do the floor tiles handle spills? Is it pretty easy to clean up automotive fluids, winter slop, and stuff? Can you hose them off? Mop 'em? How do you clean 'em? Thanks!!

the tiles were cheap .66 each,I think it was like 360.00to do that one side with glue, the tiles are vct ,they are about 1/8 thick and the color goes all the way through.one day i had just finished snowblowing and put the snow blower on cardboard, but the front was on the tile ,i went to move it a few days later and there was a rust stain there,i just wiped it and most ot it came off but you can just hardly see it ,no one else sees it but me,maybe because i know were it is.i have spilt gas on it and used brake clean to clean some spots with no problems ,i dont know how well it will hold up to brake fluid and other such products.i do know that you need to use an other scrap tile or board if you are going to use a jack or jack stands,if you dont you will dent thr tiles,i just use other pieces of tiles, the jack rolls on to them easy,i had a piece of tile under each jack stand for weeks, when i took the car off them there were no marks or dents.i use cardboard and a big drain pan to keep it clean when i am working,it does take more time being careful but that alright ,i am still learning how to clean and take care of the floor

Very nice garage! I was wondering how you parked the Lightning, until I saw the wheel dolly :o I would love to see some more pictures of your Mustang if you get a chance to post them. Take care and again, great garage !
