Hi all, been lurking here for awhile. I own a small VW and Audi shop in the New England area. I am moving the shop in a few weeks, and the industrial condo I am looking into currently is 3/4 done in VHT black/white checkers. The floor space isnt that large, only about 1100 sq feet.
My question is how many of you have first hand experience with the durability of the VHT and how it does with oil and antifreeze spills? How is the durability as far as using jack stands go?
I was planning on tiling the rest of the place with VHT as that seems like the logical and most inexpensive thing to do. Of course if money was not an issue I would kill for an all porcelain tiled shop. The tiles that are down there now need a cleaning and a buff. We run a clean shop so I do not see maintaining the shine and protection of the VHT that big of a deal. Just want some other opinions if possible.
Thanks,
Heather
