I have read some reviews that say they are flimsy and scratch easy... I guess you get what you pay for.

Having said that they are very affordable ($1.00 sq ft) and someone might have a use for these:

I've read that site a lot in the past.

Somewhere on another forum (Ford/Mustang related) I think someone used them and said they buckled at the edges when the sun hit them.

I really wouldn't want to put up with that.

From everything I've read; Racedeck or the ones from Costco (nearly the same) are the best ones.

I'd fo VCT tile from home depot. It's heavy duty commercial and less expensive than the stuff you posted.

Damn that looks nice. How well can it stand up to jacking the car up if needed?

the link to the site you posted shows some nasty looking problems down at the bottom of the page...why would anyone buy it after looking at that?

You should check out www.swisstrax.com before you make your purchase. Better quality, easy install, less maintenance and extremely durable!

Call us direct @ 866.748.7940

I look forward to hearing from you! Greer ;)

The title of the thread is 'Cheap Tile'. Google quotes a SINGLE garage package of Swisstrax at $795.00. Somehow I think you ended up in the wrong thread.

Being obnoxious and posting in EVERY thread about flooring isn't going to win you any customers.

Is the VCT tile able to hold a 4 post lift and jacks/jackstands rolling around on it.

How slippery does it get when wet?

VCT is the flooring at my work. It is a manufacturing plant, and I can't specifically answer about 4 post lifts and jackstands. I can tell you however that pallets jacks and forklifts are driven on the stuff all day long. I personally build production equipment that's heavier then most cars and trucks, and they don't mess up the floor. I guess small diameter wheels might leave indentions if left with some weight on them. Occasionally tiles do break, crack, peel up, but it appears to be a pretty simple deal to replace them. And at $0.79/sq ft I don't mind replacing a couple. :D
I would imagine it could get pretty slippery, especially with a shiny coat of wax on it.
